About Lindsay Hurrell

I have over 19 years of experience in the third sector, having worked with both large national charities and, more recently, smaller local organisations. My experience spans various fundraising streams, including Community, Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Corporate Partnerships, Events, Digital Fundraising and Challenge Events. I also play an active role in Communications and Marketing along with Social media. I regularly participate in networking events and deliver talks and presentations to diverse audiences. My passion lies in supporting teenagers and young adults facing cancer, along with their families. As a parent of a teenage son, I cannot begin to imagine the devastation of receiving such a diagnosis. Hearing the heart breaking stories of the young people we support at The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation fuels my dedication to this cause. Nikki and Richard Bowdidge tragically lost their son Tom at just 19 to a rare and aggressive cancer. If I can play even a small role in making life a little easier for another family facing a similar journey, that is my greatest motivation.
