About Lisa Denis
With 20 years fundraising experience in support of Healthcare and Post-Secondary education in the Kamloops community I am passionate about building relationships with donors and community members. Connecting donors with important initiatives that support students and their education at TRU is an investment in the lives of students and our communities. I help provide strategic vision and leadership for fundraising strategies and bolstering philanthropic support for the School of Nursing, the Faculty of Arts as well as the Legacy giving program within TRU Advancement. I have worked in various roles at the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation raising funds for patient care equipment on large fundraising campaigns and supporting the development of the planned giving and recognition/stewardship system programs. I joined the TRU community in January 2013 as a Director of Development for the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Education and Social Work and have also worked in the President’s Office at TRU and in the Office of Quality Assurance as the Academic Initiatives Administrative Coordinator.
