Hi, I’m Lisa Schaffer — a purpose-driven leader and storyteller working at the intersection of health equity, systems change, and human connection.As Executive Director of Obesity Canada, I bring together researchers, healthcare providers, policy-makers, and people with lived experience to shift the conversation on obesity. I believe in leading with both strategy and empathy — because real change happens when evidence, equity, and community come together.My background spans brand building, organizational growth, and cross-sector collaboration. I’ve worked with some of North America’s most recognizable brands, and now I apply that same creativity and focus to drive impact in the non-profit and health space.I lead with curiosity, compassion, and strategy — always seeking creative, human-centered solutions to complex problems. I’m a passionate storyteller, coach, and connector who’s not afraid to ask big questions and push for better — because I believe we can do more, and do it together.
