About Lise Bourrier

Welcome to my profile! I am currently working as a research-dev specialist at Les 2 Rives. I obtained my Phd from Sorbonne Université (Campus Pierre & Marie Curie) in Artificial Intelligence for Education, under the supervision of Vanda Luengo. My Phd focused on diagnostic and decision algorithms to reinforce experts' non-technical skills (such as situational awareness or decision making) during critical situations. One application domain of this work was acute medicine. The tech involved state-of-the-art AI methods such as Deep Neural Networks, Bayesian Networks, or Reinforcement Learning 'multi-armed bandit' algorithms. Before switching to research, I have been working as a project-manager and AGILE product owner in different domains, such as eCommerce, therefore I am also happy to evolve in non-academic setups. I thrive when working at the edge of cognitive science and AI. I believe that both AI and human learning share a lot, and can contribute to each other.
