About Long Nguyen

I am a sophomore student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in Marketing. I have an experience in leadership, collaboration, and communication. I have strengthened these skills by working in different jobs, beginning in high school as a teaching assistant for a basketball club and a tour guide in Vietnam for a community area. Working in these two positions, I had to be detailed orientated and communicate effectively with other co-workers to provide an informative environment. By the end of my positions, I led and taught skills to incoming employees so that they could adapt to their roles quickly. Now as a business student at Indiana University, I continue to look out for new chances in the marketing industry to expand my professional network and personal skills. I am improving my career knowledge through working in the business industry and enrolling in business honors courses. I start working as a peer tutor in the business class in order to dig deeper into the industry. Also, I maintain a good score throughout the semester and have my name existed in the Dean List's award. I hope to strengthen my analytical, collaboration, and public speaking skills by engaging in a marketing internship this summer. After that, I look forward to becoming a Kelley peer mentor, which helps incoming Kelley students get used to study and life in the college. After graduation, I want to see myself pursuing a marketing career in a business company, providing marketing strategy and data visualization so that the company can quickly figure out what to do next in the most efficient way.
