Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.”After 13 years as Director of Marketing for Arylessence, in 2015 I assumed a new role with this outstanding company – Director, Marketing Relations and Communications. My background is consumer products, luxury beauty, and cosmetic brands. My expertise is my insight into product development, brand strategies, consumer attitudes, lifestyles and buying behaviors. My breadth of expertise comes from my experience as a marketing and sales executive with the most innovative brands in America, including Clinique, Aveda, and The Body Shop, where my responsibilities included new product development, fragrance introductions, sales development and education, and consumer marketing. I worked closely with Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher, the natural products genius, as well as Anita Roddick, the inspired entrepreneur who built The Body Shop. My work with Horst and Anita shaped my creativity, commitment to excellence, strategic brand building, and attention to detail. Throughout my full, rewarding, and productive career, all of my roles have required effective and strategic communications with clients, consumers, project teams, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and media. The opportunity to build positive and mutually rewarding relationships with these groups and individuals always made the work worthwhile. The relationships are what makes the work meaningful, long after the marketing strategy and product launch make an impression. At Arylessence, I have the privilege of building and deepening relationships through communications and connectivity with our associates, the community, industry associations, media partners, industry colleagues, and valued customers.
