About Lou Henry

As a Financial Controller with over 18 years of extensive experience in financial control and accounting, particularly in the film industry, in the Australian and New Zealand film industries, I provide human resources and accounts support to various projects, from Script Development and funding finance, through to Post Production and recoupment. I have a strong background in entrepreneurship and finance, having completed an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. I’m also pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from La Trobe University, which will further enhance my skills in data-driven decision making and film finance innovation, and completing my CPA. My passion for film production is evident in my work as a Board Member at Fleurieu Film Festival, where I contribute to the organization's growth and success. I’m always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the dynamic and creative field of film and television production, and share my skillset via the many Mentoring and finance Tutoring positions I’ve held over the years with the Australian Film, Television & Radio School (AFTRS) and the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC), and have strong team leadership with a focus on supporting early accountants progress to the next level.
