A strong track record in achieving transformational growth for charities since 2005. With an outstanding board, staff and volunteer team we are rapidly developing the reach and influence of Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis so more families affected by PF are empowered to live well for longer. Having grown Back Up from £500K income to over £1.6M over 10+ years and increasing the reach and impact of Back Up's award winning services from 100 people affected by paralysis to each year, I have had the privilege of collaborating with staff, trustees, volunteers and supporters to achieve growth and manage change. I enjoy using data, research and real people's stories to help influence stakeholders with initially conflicting priorities, including health commissioners, medical professionals, the private sector and peers to improve peoples lives. I launched the first network of charities supporting people affected by spinal cord injury to improve collaboration and stop service users 'falling through gaps.' At APF we are developing #OneVoiceILD a growing network of stakeholders to bring positive change to the health and care of people affected by all forms or pulmonary fibrosis. As a founder member of Vitality, a small charity working in Bangladesh, with my fellow trustees we have to overcome hurdles around language, culture, fundraising and reporting to ensure our work meets high quality standards.
