Lucia Donno received the master’s degree cum laude in Biomedical Engineering in April 2021 from Politecnico di Milano, by defending a thesis on the implementation of a musculoskeletal model of the knee joint, able to quantify ligaments tension during walking (in collaboration with IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi). She earned PhD with honors in Bioengineering in December 2024 at Politecnico di Milano, by defending her thesis titled "On the assessment of Knee joint biomechanics and Ligament tensions through a tailored Musculoskeletal Model". She's currently a Post Doctoral Researcher at Politecnico di Milano (DEIB) and focuses on movement analysis and the implementation of musculoskeletal models, mainly for clinical, ergonomic and rehabilitation purposes. Professional qualification as Industrial Engineer, registered with Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Milano.
