Coming out? Oh honey, it’s not a one-size-fits-all situation. It’s more like trying to pick an outfit in a thunderstorm: messy, emotional, and somehow you’re still in your underwear crying to a Tegan and Sara song. Take your time. Seriously. There’s no race, no buzzer, no “Congratulations, you’re lesbian now!” certificate (although, honestly, there should be). For me? I didn’t need a push. I was more like a les volcano: silent for years and then boom, tears, existential clarity, and a dramatic playlist. All the what-ifs, bad haircuts, weird crushes, and glittery trauma just hit me at once. But somewhere in that emotional explosion, I found this weird little superpower called self-acceptance. My wish for you? That you find your strength, your sparkle, and your people. And someday, we won’t need closets just open doors, good vibes, and maybe a few more queer brunches.
