About Lucy Scott

Hi! My name is Lucy. I am a learning professional and Digital Content Developer for an e-learning company. I work with businesses to develop and build tailored learning solutions. I could insert a story here from my childhood which accounts for why this was always my destiny; something about bringing home extra worksheets from class and a jumbo-sized whiteboard. Although that is true it is not how I ended up here. I found my purpose at the intersection between my skills and personal hobbies. Growing up and working in an international setting has led to the growth of interpersonal skills including: communication, collaboration and creativity. I decided to qualify these skills with an MA in Education at UCL. I also care deeply about helping others; this manifests itself in knowledge sharing. As a child that knowledge was almost always about my favourite subject - History. I again decided to qualify this hobby with a History BA from the University of York. Thanks to my habit of professionalising my strengths, I have been able to make a career out of what drives me - learning and teaching. I have created, designed and developed learning projects across many different sectors for international businesses including Technology, Retail, Education and Government. The best thing about my job? I never stop learning. I can converse on the intricacies of biometric technologies, the import coding system in the UK, and data regulation and protection in the Microsoft Office Suite among other things.
