About Luis Guisado

I began my career in hospitality, but one day my interest in programming led me to explore the world of technology. I decided to start training in DAM, where I gained solid skills in programming, interface design, and mobile and web application development. I also acquired knowledge in database management and cybersecurity. After completing my training, I received my first job offer in the industry. In my role, I worked under the AGILE methodology (Scrum), managing tasks and ensuring the achievement of objectives. I developed user interfaces with Angular and APIs in Java, including CRUD operations. Additionally, I managed SQL databases (PostgreSQL and H2) and used Git for version control. I collaborated with development teams on Github 🤝, planning sprints and organizing the backlog. I also focused on refactoring and applying design patterns to improve the efficiency and readability of existing code. My quest for the ideal vocation led me to 42, where I immersed myself in the C language and ultimately participated in a cybersecurity bootcamp. In this intensive program, I acquired valuable skills in various fields, including: Web Scraping. TOTP Key Generation. Blockchain. Ransomware. Development of a Daemon Service to detect anomalies in both Linux and Windows systems. Creating scripts to extract information from a Windows 10 PC. Knowledge in ARP poisoning and Man-in-the-Middle attacks. SQL injections and vulnerability scanning. Creating a program to read the MFT table and recover deleted files. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining key certifications in cybersecurity, including Google and Splunk certifications. The opportunity to pursue the Splunk certification arose after winning a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition, reaffirming my passion and skills in this field. I am committed to continuous learning and constantly seeking challenges to further my growth in the exciting world of cybersecurity.
