About Luis M. Matey

Mechanical Engineer (U. Navarre 1991), Ph. D.(U. Navarre 1994), Professor of the University of Navarre. Senior Researcher of the Mechanical Design and Assesment Group of the Advance Manufacturing Division, working in research projects in mechanism analysis, design and optimisation, simulation of multi domain systems, human motion reconstruction, VR/AR applications, human-machine interfaces, haptics and ITS, additive manufacturing and mechanical and industrial design. His main research interests focus on HCI, visualisation, virtual reality, Ambient Intelligence and Mechanical Design. He has collaborated in five books, forty papers in indexed journals, sixty communications in Conferences, and supervised eleven Doctoral Thesis. He has collaborated with a lot of companies mainly in the aeronautic, automotive and educational fields, and he has participated in more than sixty research projects. He is accredited by ANECA Agency as "Profesor Titular" of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He has participated in a lot of Technical Comitees in both National and International Conferences, and he has been reviewer in many international conferences Member of ACM, Euromech and Eurographics, he has been member of the Spanish executive chapter of Eurographics.
