About Lukas Heiniger

I'm a person with a wide range of interests, mostly in software engineering but also in many other areas. I'm always keen to take on new challenges and believe that one of my strengths is that I'm a fairly quick learner. I'm also rarely satisfied with only scratching at the surface of new things that come along my way.I enjoy working together with others and value a constructive and inspiring work environment that enables collaboration and mutual learning.In my past I have worked in engineering teams, founded a small iOS company, learned the ropes of science at ETH and co-lead a spin-off project through its grant sponsored preparatory stage. After careful market considerations we decided against a market launch for now. At my current position I am working as a senior software developer at the swiss seismological service where we pursue the technical aspects of our spin-off project in collaboration with the energy industry.
