About Maci Parent

Throughout my many years, or so it feels like many years, as a student, I've thought many different paths about my future. When I was young, all I wanted to be was a stay-at-home mom. I wanted to watch over my kids, and possibly others. Once I reached an age of thinking more realistically, I realized that this wasn't an obtainable goal for my particular future. Because of this conclusion, I finally decided to be a social worker, but of course, my mind changed. Across all jobs I've had, the aptitude that I'm most proud of is my ability to talk with anyone. I'm confident in the way that I articulate. With confidence, I take any conversation or question and discuss the topic in the best of my ability. I've always taken on the role of care-taker. I have a large heart and the ability to share emotions with others, leads me to understand many people in different work places. This specific goal has shown through my dream careers in my past. The primary thing I take away from this is that I'm a people person- and that shows through my communicational skills. My goal in life has always been to be a constant for someone- a constant in the work place, a constant with life support, a constant that someone could come to with any concern or question. Regardless of the job that I entail, I want this goal to sustain.
