About Madison Denton

I'm a spiritual leader that is constantly seeking new, innovative ways to engage ministry. A life-long United Methodist, I grew up serving and creating within the church. In the last five years, I've launched two key ministries with the focus of reaching newer, younger, more diverse communities of people. The first half of that time was spent creating The Neighborhood College Ministry, an inclusive and affirming campus ministry at The University of Missouri-Columbia. The second has been focused on expanding The City Worship Movement, a modern worship experience I helped create and launch in 2019, and that I now pastor. I am currently a Certified Candidate for Ordination within the United Methodist Church, Deacon track. I am also a student at Iliff School of Theology, working toward a Masters of Social Justice and Ethics. My friend and I recently launched a show called The Oh, God! Podcast. In it, we discuss topics that relate to Christianity and faith deconstruction. I am really passionate about walking alongside those healing from Church hurt, or those seeking a relationship to Jesus while carrying big faith questions. I have two dogs, Oscar and Maisey, who bring me lots of joy! I'm an enneagram 8w7, and an incredibly relational extrovert. Coffee is my love language, and I am always down to listen to live music.
