I bring deep expertise in enterprise risk management, AML/CFT strategy, and regulatory governance, with a proven record of delivering results in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.A Chevening Scholar with a Master’s in Business Analysis and Strategic Management from the University of Manchester (UK) and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Economics and Management from Azerbaijan State University of Economics. My career includes experience as a strategy consultant in the UK, where I strengthened capabilities in business analysis, strategic planning, and performance improvement.Currently, I head the Regulation and Cooperation Division at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, leading national AML/CFT policy development, cross-border supervisory cooperation, and sectoral risk assessments. I also serve as a MONEYVAL Mutual Evaluation Assessor, contributing to high-profile international evaluations of financial integrity frameworks.Driven by a commitment to strengthening financial systems, I focus on advancing strategic risk governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering innovation.
