About Malek Abualfailat

As the founder and CEO of Tahaluf Consulting and Projects Development, I lead a team of professionals who provide innovative solutions for water, climate, and food security challenges in the Mediterranean region. I have over 10 years of experience in managing and implementing various WASH-related projects, especially in vulnerable and conflict-affected areas, such as Palestine and Israel. My core competencies include analytical skills, environmental awareness, and advocacy skills, which enable me to conduct research, design interventions, and influence policies and stakeholders. I have a Master’s Degree in Water and Environmental Sciences from Birzeit University, where I conducted a trans-boundary industrial wastewater management study. I also hold multiple certifications in topics such as human rights, GIS, and green building. I am passionate about promoting sustainable and equitable water management and fostering cooperation and dialogue among different actors and communities.
