About Mandi Miller

When I was almost finished with my bachelor's degree studies, my childhood summer camp was permanently closed. At the time, I was working toward a career in arts management, and in the background of that, I held a close, fond love for my summers I had spent as a camper and counselor. When my childhood camp was closed, that changed everything for me - I was struck with the weight of how important my camp experience was to me, and how much it had shaped and molded me as a person. So, I put my arts plans aside and embarked on a new dream - being a camp director.Flash forward, and today I am able to utilize skills I've developed over the years (like organization, leadership and building systems/processes) to create community and character building camp experiences for girls - experiences that empower them, support them, connect them to a sisterhood, provide them lifelong memories, and help them grow into their best selves. I am also incredibly passionate about what the camp experience does for staff. Mentoring a team each season is a privilege I hold in the highest regard. It is such an honor to be part of a staff member's professional and personal growth that they too experience at camp.Camp changes lives, and I'm so grateful to be a part of that.
