About Mandy Dagold

As a Deputy Director at USAID/Ethiopia/Democracy and Governance Office, I manage a $78 million portfolio that focuses on rule of law, human rights, civic engagement, elections, and conflict mitigation. I hold and Level II FAC-COR Level II certification issued by Federal Acquisition Institute. I collaborate with various stakeholders, including USAID/Washington, donors, civil society organizations, and Mission offices, to develop program strategy and budget allocations. However, I’ve held positions as a Contracting Officer at USAID, the National Institute of Drug Abuse, and NASA. I hold a FAC-C Level Contracting Officer certification. In addition to my role at USAID, I am an Adjunct Instructor at the University of West Florida, where I teach African Politics and Security, integrating international development and relations theories. I have a PhD in International Development from the University of Southern Mississippi, an MBA in Global Management from New York Institute of Technology-Old Westbury, and a BBA in Marketing from North Carolina Central University.
