About Mandy Rinne

As an educator for 21 years, I loved nothing more than connecting and forming genuine relationships with students. I enjoyed spending time teaching children about their emotions, how to regulate them and how to advocate for their needs. When children feel loved, seen and safe first, the academic learning comes much more naturally. As I became more and more engaged with Social Emotional Learning, aligning standards in our district's curriculum and spending spare time becoming a Brand Ambassador for author Diane Alber (Little Spot of Emotions) and offering advice, edits and creating video lessons for the Little Spot of Emotions books I felt a pull to consider how I could put my passions and skills to use in a setting that I could focus fully on Social Emotional Learning. A friend and former colleague mentioned a program that she was going through. I looked into Kids Life Coaching through Kids Life Studio, and the core values aligned with so many of mine that I decided to take the LEAP! Putting Kids First Always is at the very core of who I am and becoming a Kids Life Coach could not have been more fit for my heart! I am dedicated to helping grow the minds and hearts of children in our community and empower them to become the leaders of their own lives! I specialize in emotion regulation and confidence building. I desire deeply to help children be the best version of themselves. At Empowered Minds Kids Studio, we are committed to fostering resilience, self-esteem, and developing a positive growth mindset for children and families that will help them navigate the journey of life. As former teachers who are passionate about making an impact far and wide, we offer professional development opportunities to schools and community organizations looking to learn more about building relationships, conscious parenting and problem solving.
