About Mandy Swift

Passionate about facilitating growth for purpose-driven businesses and people. My career path has been anything but linear! It has inspired me on a myriad journey of twists and turns, before returning me to my roots 4 years ago, teaching equine, business and animal care. Always more of a people person than a paperwork person, for 15+ years I ran my own businesses and networked my way around the South West because I am passionate about enabling businesses, and the people at the heart of those businesses, to grow and create positive change. I have always been passionate about enabling growth and meaningful change - from running my own consultancy, CTC Marketing, to Regional Leader for 4Networking, to heading up BBX South West, a trading platform that connects businesses and guarantees them new sales. I also headed up growth and development at the South West Business Connections Hub. I am also all about new ideas and creating better thinking for better futures! My last venture - Collaborate Business - was a very different kind of business community, bringing leaders and forward-thinking business owners together to foster professional and commercial growth through collaboration. Interactive online events created purposeful conversations, knowledge-sharing and positive growth. 4 years ago, I returned to my roots, teaching equine, business and animal care, because I wanted to be part of making a difference to young people. How much that journey has taught me! Who am I at my core? I am a person of opposites, driven by a deep internal drive and passion for whatever I do. My 3 greatest values in life are Freedom | Authenticity | Integrity. And it is those lived values that have always informed my life decisions. If I were a biscuit I would be a macaroon - a tough outer shell with a soft squishy centre! My favourite quote is "Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says, I will try again tomorrow". For me, that echoes the sentiment of much of the current zeitgeist. It inspires me to continue wanting to make a difference."Out of hours" you'll find me outside riding, walking my dog, thinking or enjoying a glass of wine :) If you've read this far, why not get in touch - I'm always open to conversations that may spark new ideas :) mandy@mandyswift.com 07780 607 670
