Background

About Manika M.

As a graduate of Cardiff University receiving honours in Journalism, Politics and Communications (BA), my previous work experience is dominated by my interest in the media landscape and its integration within society. I offer my freelance services across a range of sectors and specialise in content writing, content curation, basic web development, copywriting, social media and communication management. I believe in creating close coherent relationships with my clients to implement effective and targeted communication strategies. I am currently working as a Research Assistant at Cardiff University within the Journalism Department with the responsibility of organizing and reviewing research materials for academic projects, ensuring complete accuracy and thorough critical analysis. I have previously completed a research placement under Dr Emiliano Trere at Cardiff University where we researched and co-authored an auto-ethnography on Digital Disconnection. This is in the process of being published and should be done so as a peer-reviewed scholarly article by the end of 2023. This research also led us to be invited to present our research at the International Communication Association Annual Conference where we presented our findings as panellists.
