About Manju Garg

Manju has worked for over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry in leadership roles and covering all aspects of medical research, sales, marketing and corporate affairs in some of the premium organisations in India. Her background in research starting from her M.Sc. in Biochemistry and genetics coupled with working at the prestigious AIIMS at Delhi have given her a deep understanding of the medical sciences & Pharmacology in order to interact with doctors and other professionals from the medical field. Having worked in diverse chronic therapeutic categories like Anti- cancer, Neuro Psychiatry, Cardio Vascular and Clinical, Cosmetic and Aesthetic dermatology has given her a great understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical Industry & its allied fields such as market research, Phase 3 & 4 trials, regulatory requirements & distribution channels including Modern & online trade & digital/Social marketing etc. In the last fifteen years she has focused on dermatology including aesthetics for the Indian market. In the last ten years she has had a rich experience of starting up pharma ventures from scratch – from the stage of incorporation, obtaining regulatory approvals, product design, material sourcing to manufacturing, import and export, QC release, setting up processes and infrastructure, building up multi-disciplinary teams nationwide and achieving top and bottom line. She has worked in senior positions in Indian companies such as Elder Pharma, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and has been the CEO/Country Head of Stiefel. At present she is the country head of Merz India & its sub -continents, a venture she has setup from scratch. She has travelled across the globe and interacted with medical and pharma professionals especially from the US, Europe and Asia and understands these markets. Manju brings to the table goodwill and a generation of expertise spanning medical, pharma and management specialties & also flawless track of integrity & compliance. She has been mentored by some of the best globally and in turn has mentored many.
