About Manya Shah

Associate Scientist I in Cell Line Engineering at Incendia Therapeutics with hands-on experience in developing engineered cell models, assay development, and functional genomic techniques. I hold a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University with a specialization in Regenerative and Stem Cell Technologies, and an Integrated Master of Science in Life Sciences from Ahmedabad University, India. My experience includes engineering stable overexpression and knockdown cell lines using CRISPR, lentivirus, lipofection, and electroporation, along with designing high-throughput cytokine reporter assays to study gene function and mechanism of action. I have worked extensively with multi-color flow cytometry, co-culture systems, luciferase and fluorescent reporter assays, qPCR, and a range of molecular and immunological techniques. I’m also proficient in cell culture, imaging, and data analysis tools such as FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, and SnapGene. Driven by curiosity and precision, I enjoy solving complex scientific problems and contributing to the development of innovative tools and models that support discovery and development efforts in the life sciences.
