About Marc MacAlintal
Marc Macalintal is a Los Angeles musician who has been involved in theatre as a music director (La Cage Aux Folles, The Who’s Tommy, The Last Five Years), a composer (Krunk Fu Battle Battle) and as an actor (Damn Yankees, Master Class, The King And I). He reorchestrated the musical score in EWP’s hip-hop/anime themed Pippin, and was recently nominated for an Ovation Award for his work in EWP’s Next To Normal. He began studying classical piano with Charlottle Zelka and later earned his Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance at California State University, Northridge under the guidance of Françoise Régnat. Marc was a winner of the Krenek Competition Junior Division at the Johanna Hodges Piano Competition and was invited to participate in a master class with Karl Ulrich Schnabel at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
