About Marc McKenzie Stanley

My newest career is as husband and step parent. This brings me a new level of joy and fulfillment. Something that helps me provide a deeper part of myself to the work I do and the communities I serve. I am able to give all of myself to both sides of my life, and that makes me very pleased. My day job consists of leading SDRS, which is one of the 18 Community Dispute Resolution Centers in Michigan. Specializing in developing and implementing Mediation services within the court system, developing and implementing restorative practices for educational institutions, developing and implementing conflict resolution training curriculum, and training/educating volunteers to promote ADR in our communities. When not leading the charge for the use of Alternative forms of conflict resolution, I work with other dedicated change agents, within the communities I serve and live, to promote Collaborative networking best practices. These practices use equity and community design as guides for service design and implementation. I also find time to enjoy my Comic collection, enjoy fine wine, scotch, and keep up some form of physical activity.
