About Marcela Arin

Definition of "Adaptability": Being able to adjust to new expectations in order to adapt to new situations. Being able to change readily in order to manage constantly-altering circumstances. Initially beginning my career as an Economist, I was hired as a General Manager at a hotel ready to add a restaurant and an entertainment club to its service offerings. My immediate supervisors quickly saw my potential for greater things; that is why I was inspired to earn my Tourism Licence through a local government body. While parlaying the management knowledge that I learned in school, I:* introduced a series of policies and procedures to galvanize over 40 workers (across the hotel, restaurant, and nightclub sectors) in functioning as a united team to deliver service beyond standard expectations.* persuaded the hotel's owners of the benefits in adding an in-house travel agency - an initiative designed to provide the hotel's customers with one-stop shopping. In addition to my background in hospitality management and restaurant management, I have also held roles in operations management, office management, and administrative assistance where I regularly exercised talents in problem solving and diplomatic conflict resolution, action planning, financial record-keeping, and workflow planning and prioritization to make sure that workflow continued to run smoothly. Nevertheless, what I am skilled at - better than anything else - is adaptability. No matter where I am or what I am doing, I can be counted on to accurately complete the job - and on time - so that businesses continue to succeed. I believe that I play an active role in customers wanting to REPEATEDLY visit us. It's what I have done - and will continue to do - throughout my career. Going forward, I wish to join a company that values a drive for continuous improvement and a fierce desire to outpace their competition through red-carpet customer service.
