One-year international experience at the US Department of Agriculture - US DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE-USDA Citrus and Other Subtropical Products Research, Fort Pierce, FL with sensory analysis; obtaining essential oils and natural extracts; conducting physical and chemical analyzes; volatiles compounds; flavor, nutrients; and phytonutrients; development of additives and incorporation of natural antimicrobials (essential oils and plant extracts) to extend vegetables and fruits shelf life without changing the flavor.
