Marco has an international experience in the Private and Public/Academic sector, having worked in Leadership and Senior Roles for National Law Enforcement and National Statistics agencies, Global Publishing and Management Consulting companies. As an Academic, Marco has worked in a number of application-fields of AI/Machine Learning and Signal Processing (multimedia, speech, physics, and computational biology). He has lectured at University level and has published in peer-reviewed international journals, as well as presenting at international conferences and workshops. Marco has more than 20 years of professional experience, providing leadership and promoting best practices in the overall Data ecosystem: Data Infrastructure and Architecture, Data Services and Management, Data Science and Data Analytics. In my career I have developed, contributed and supported data strategies; led analytical and technical teams; directly developed and applied advanced analytical, Data Science and AI methods to a variety of applications both commercially and in Academia.
