About Marco Primavera

My professional profile has been developed during approximately three years with one of the top five worldwide consulting firm and is developed towards a type of specialization tied to the techniques and the instruments of energy risk management. I currently work as head of OCSIT (Italian central stockholding entity) at Acquirente Unico (AU), a company that was established by the Italian government with the mission to guarantee the supply of affordable electricity to household and small business customers. I strongly participated at the start up of this company that on 1 January 2004 has taken the place of supplier for the captive market. Specialties: My responsibilities are related to: contributing to the definition of the purchasing portfolio; managing risk policies and support the definition of the hedging portfolio; modelling power market through price and quantity forecasting (short, medium and long term); define risk index and measuring portfolio exposure to price and volume risks.
