About Marco Rizza

Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Energy and a strong foundation in the operation and maintenance of large-scale thermoelectric power plant equipment, including General Electric gas turbines and generators. I began my professional journey in the energy sector and gradually transitioned into roles at the intersection of technology, business development, and digital innovation. Currently, I serve as a Technical and Commercial Development Analyst at My Energy Q8, the ESCO (Energy Service Company) of Kuwait Petroleum Italia. In this role, I drive energy efficiency projects for industrial and commercial clients, combining engineering expertise with business acumen to develop tailor-made, high-impact energy solutions. Previously, I worked within Kuwait Petroleum Italia as a Special Projects Analyst in the Construction & Maintenance Services team and later as a Scrum Master in the Technology Management department, where I led agile teams through digital transformation initiatives. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about continuous improvement, both in systems and in people. I enjoy building collaborative, high-performing teams and finding smart solutions to complex challenges. Outside of work, I’m a proud father and husband, an experienced traveler, and an enthusiastic (if not particularly skilled!) team sports player. I believe in balance, curiosity, and the power of positive energy—both literal and metaphorical.
