About Marco Trapuzzano

I attended an internship during my master degree thesis, working in quantum nano-photonics field: my project consisted in studying "non-classical" single-photon sources, applied in metrological experiment. This research led to the publication of two papers on high-impact scientific journals (i.e."Advanced Quantum Technologies"). I gained experience into optics, laser, detectors and joined different projects. I've been trained with solid mathematical and physical studies, focused on photonics, with a highly oriented problem-solving mentality. I attended a Software Internship which provided basis of: OOP programming (Java 8)and web applications deployment. I'm curious, determined and enthusiastic. My strengths? A methodical and systematic approach, detail-oriented and efficiently focused to reach goals and solve tasks. I firmly believe in teamwork and cooperation between units: a good and proactive atmosphere is the key to grow both individually and professionally. Actually I work in Leonardo S.p.A.(Space Division) as AIT Manager on 3MI Program, EO Payload mounted on MetOp-SG-A satellite (Eumetsat mission). In particular I supervised the integration of three Flight Models, performed the Objectives and Detectors alignment campaigns into Clean Rooms (ISO5-7-8), and coordinated the testing campaigns (Vibration, EMC, TV-Cycles) before shipment to customers. I really enjoy cooperation with SubCo and Customers, looking for the best solution to reach the common goal: Space!
