About Maria Maffei
My research topic focuses on panhispanic poetry from the second half of the XX century to the present, paying attention to intertextual, transmedial, and translation dyanmics. My thesis analyzes the prose poem as a methodologic and translation issue in Manuel Álvarez Ortega and José Ángel Valente's production. In parallel, i am analyzing the irruption of medical-psychiatric language in poetry maintaingin a transmedial perspective.
