About Maria Medde

Island-born and world-minded, I’ve always been driven by the desire to cross boundaries — geographical, cultural, and personal. I hold a degree in Chinese Language and Culture and a Master’s in International Relations of Asia, a path that led me to live in China and deepen my passion for its rich history and millennia-old culture. Over time, I’ve developed strong communication skills, adaptability, and a natural ease in connecting with people. A seasonal experience as a receptionist helped me discover how much I enjoy understanding and fulfilling people’s needs, which inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Marketing, Retail & Sales Management. Today, I work in Customer Care and Commercial Back Office, where I combine empathy, active listening, and organizational skills to build authentic, trust-based relationships and deliver meaningful customer experiences.
