About Maria Westerlund

I consider myself being an experienced change manager within HR with a strong focus both on strategy and operational deliveries, combining HR with business. I have been a manager since 1995 primarily within HR, with a span of control up to 25 employees both specialists and managers. With many years of experience in adding value in executive management teams, I have had focus on building HR agendas and maintaining and developing HR organizations. For more than 7 years I worked with redeployment issues including concept building and individual coaching & outplacement. My international experience have enabled me to work with a number of countries. I have been responsible for Strategic Workforce Planning and also the recruitment policy and Instruction for TeliaSonera Group (17 countries), including implementation, training and Employer Branding. Other relevant assignments: • Part of the board for EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Committee) Ethics Committee • Experienced Mentor for manager’s on different levels, both externally and internally • Responsible for various Mentorship, Competence and Diversity programs • Company Internal traininer for managers for more than 5 years
