About Mario A Casas
Mario is a 31 year veteran of law enforcement. Mario started his law enforcement career with the Southern California Rapid Transit District Police Department, in 1981. In 1988, Mario transferred to the Irvine Police Department in Orange County (CA) and after 25 years of service, he retired in December of 2013. In 1987, just prior to transferring to the Irvine Police Department, Mario served as a tactical instructor and adjunct professor with the Rio Hondo Community College District (CA). Mario trained over entry level police recruits and over advanced police officers in California POST mandated training until his retirement in 2010. Mario also served 5 years with the California Police Officers Memorial Foundation Board where his primary assignment was to coordinate the law enforcement vehicle procession from the California Highway Patrol Academy to the State Capital and supervise the coordination of the Officers Walk of Honor. Mario also served on California Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST), Advisory Committee, from 2009 to 2015.
