About Mario Purba
As the creative think-tank of Woodbox, Mario has the instinct to create and direct the aesthetic output of Woodbox’s communication materials. Graduated from Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta with Visual Communications Design degree, he has always been capable to find the sweet spot between effective communications and visually palatable artworks. Mario’s previous visual communication clients include big names such as Conservation International, Sofitel, Yayasan gaya Dewata. KNCV, PLN, etc. He also helped organise Mister & Miss Gaya Dewata pageant. On the side, Mario organises QLC Bali, a monthly meet-up of Bali LGBTQI members, locals and foreigners, to create a safe space to be queer and creative.
