About Marion Joffrin

What drives me: people, sharing, movement and a healthy dose of good humour! As a recent graduate of the IAE Master's degree in Sport Organisations Management, and after a really good "Service Civique", I am now the Territorial Sports Manager of Aubagne for the french association Sport dans la Ville, which helps a lot of young people enter the working world through sport. After a 2-year work-study placement in the retail sector, which was very formative both professionally and personally, I am now more interested in the voluntary sector. As a lifelong sportswoman myself (mainly climbing, handball, badminton and water sports), I decided to make a career out of it, not as an athlete but by promoting sport. Involved in clubs where I belong (and have belonged), I offered my time as a volunteer, both for training and for the development of the clubs. I also helped to organise the annual competitions. As a former training manager in a French Red Cross unit, I continue to work for the association as a first-aider and life-saving instructor. The voluntary sector is therefore an integral part of my life and for the time being, I want to keep it that way. Born in the Paris suburbs, I was lucky enough to discover rural areas, coastlines and mountain areas. As a lover of beautiful natural landscapes, I have moved closer to them in Marseille (big city on the Mediterranean Coast, no so far from the Alps). I am always open to new opportunities, with a preference for projects that aim to "make the world a better place", whether on a small or large scale. As you will have realised, if there is an outdoor dimension, that is also a plus. I also want to work abroad in the near future.that is why I am a french woman with a English and Spanish presentations on LinkedIn. You can contact me on LinkedIn or by email: marion.joffrin@gmail.com
