A highly experienced, recently retired, Detective Inspector with the City of London Police, formally of Kent Police with 30 years’ policing service. I have a BSc (Hons) in Applied Criminal Investigation and Certificate in Diversity. With specialisms in Intelligence Management, Counter Terrorism and Covert Policing. Last posting was Deputy Head of Counter Terrorism Policing in the City. An inspirational police leader with a history of assessing risk, intelligence management, with proven analytical interpretation abilities. I have served in Counter Terrorism posts for a number of years in both the City of London Police and Kent Police with a qualification from the College of Policing as a Counter Terrorism Security Coordinator with experience of managing strategic risk for high profile VIPs, iconic locations, crowded places and sporting events to mitigate terrorist hostile reconnaissance and attacks. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated exceptional leadership and organisational ability. Having worked in risk management roles in the covert field of policing; my career has been spent mitigating threat, harm and risk through intelligence-based product management. I have extensive knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and the supporting intelligence products. I have an excellent record of prospering in the most sensitive and dynamic law enforcement environments, able to increase performance, effectively manage high-level risk, inspire confidence, deliver change and engage at strategic level.
