About Mark Childs

I am a collaborative leader regarded as innovative and easy to work with and strive to empower people to want to deliver their absolute best version of themselves through coaching and mentoring. I’ve built and refined my expertise in Global Infrastructure, Communications, Executive Leadership, IT Security and Programme and Project Management whilst focusing on using IT to deliver business value. I’ve held accountability for, and delivered, the definition of IT and Security Strategy, Roadmap Creation, Enterprise Architecture Practice, Process Improvements, IT Operations frameworks and Service Levels. I’ve driven IT maturity, stabilisation, standardisation and optimisation and created beneficial Stakeholder relationships in a large, multi-national enterprises. Just a few of my career achievements to-date have been: renegotiating and migrating an 8 figure managed services contract between vendors with zero transitional impact to the business. Defining the operations framework to put the customers satisfaction at the heart of the technology offering. Defining a collaborative strategy to migrate to Office365 for an annual savings of £ 500K. Defining a strategy for migrating workloads to Public Cloud providers. Led in the development of a cost-effective and more secure replacement for a legacy credit card payment system, saving 18 minutes from our settlement process and driving a savings of £6M annually. Led the technology transformation and integration/divestiture over several Merger and Acquisition activities in Europe and USA.
