About Mark Dickerson

Wealth management has been a passion of mine for more than two decades, and I strive to provide insightful and experienced advice to help my clients live their best life possible, so they can focus on their own passions. I hold the Chartered Financial Consultant®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM), and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. As a CDFA®, I can work with your attorney to evaluate assets, liabilities, retirement and employee benefits, and also help you obtain an equitable settlement that best positions you to manage your finances and maintain your new lifestyle post-divorce. Following in my father’s footsteps, I joined the military right out of high school and enjoyed a distinguished military career. As a veteran of the U.S. Army’s Special Forces I have been called back to serve my country on several occasions. After completing a combat tour in Iraq, during which I was awarded the Bronze Star, I retired from military service in 2009. After my initial enlistment, I earned a baccalaureate degree in business administration at West Virginia University and started my career in the financial services industry. My approach to helping clients is comprehensive and follows one rule,"Do what is in their best interest". My wife Anne and I enjoy bicycling and traveling to bike trails around the country. We also enjoy spending time at home with our four standard poodles. I have also enjoyed climbing, skydiving, and completing an Ironman®.
