About Mark L. Boyd

I have been an outdoors person my entire life. Fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing, hiking - I've done it all. What I have learned from the outdoors has shaped my life. For the past 25+ years my primary focus has been in promotions and marketing, creating content - including written, photographic and video - working for some of America's top anglers in the walleye and muskie fishing world. Writing a minimum of one feature article per month, I have accumulated quite a library of work. Besides articles, I've written press releases, product reviews, social media posts, catalog content, proposals, letters, and contracts. These days, while I do some freelance business and marketing consultation in the fishing industry, I recently took the position of Customer Service Manager for Sport-O-Motive, a local Marine and Power-sports dealer. I am also coaching the Appleton North High School Fishing Team and am excited to grow this organization and work to give back to the sport that has shaped my life.
