About Mark L. Frigo

Dr. Mark L. Frigo is founding Director of the Center for Strategy, Execution and Valuation and the Strategic Risk Management Lab in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago. Dr. Frigo served as Ezerki Endowed Chaired Professor of Strategy & Leadership; as Ledger & Quill Distinguished Professor and Professor of Accountancy in the DePaul University Driehaus College of Business and is the recipient of the Via Sapientiae Award, DePaul University’s highest honor for faculty. His current research and teaching at DePaul University focuses on Long-Term Sustainable Value Creation, Strategic Valuation, Strategic Risk Management, Strategic Life-cycle Analysis and Achieving Corporate Purpose through Innovation. He serves on the Board of Directors of Keeper Security, Inc. a leading cybersecurity software company and on the Advisory Boards of startups and advises Boards of Directors and Executive Team at Fortune 500 companies.Dr. Frigo is the author of seven books and over 145 articles published in leading business journals including Harvard Business Review. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics. He is a recognized thought leader and advisor in areas of strategy, strategic risk management and strategic valuation. He is co-author of the book DRIVEN: Business Strategy, Human Actions and the Creation of Wealth with Joel Litman and a forthcoming book DRIVEN STRATEGY: Creating Long- Term Sustainable Value. He serves as an advisor to management teams and boards of directors. He has presented keynote presentations and executive education programs at companies and executive summits throughout North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.He is a pioneer in the developing new body of knowledge of Strategic Risk Management. His research and thought leadership on Strategic Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management has been published by COSO, RIMS, AICPA, IIA, ICAEW, CIMA, IMA, Harvard Business Press, The Conference Board, Financial Times and other leading organizations.
