Mark Lackey, a visionary real estate investor, author, speaker, educator, & realtor based in Atlanta, has been changing lives alongside his wife Anne. Together, they've empowered thousands of business owners through innovative real estate investing, transformative coaching, and heartfelt philanthropy. From humble beginnings, Mark and Anne embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that would see them bootstrap over ten businesses. Some soared to success, while others served as invaluable life lessons they now cherish and share. Their passion for nurturing young talent led them to become active in Georgia High School DECA for years. As they reviewed hundreds of kids' entrepreneurial business plans, they found themselves inspired by the creativity and drive they saw, and then realized their true calling - to help these young minds flourish. In 2021, Mark and Anne founded HireSmart Cares, an IRS-registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with the initial goal to "Equip the Next Generation." They started by supporting careers in agriculture, but it wasn't long before they recognized a broader need among the students. Young minds craved diverse opportunities, so Mark and Anne refined their mission to "Helping Kids," segmenting their focus into three key areas.
