About Mark Levine

Founder of Minds at Peace, LLC, formed to help people achieve a peace of mind no matter what life throws at them. I specialize in treating addiction and substance abuse, whether the goal is abstinence or harm reduction. And because I’m not busy enough, I’ve written a rock musical about addiction and stigma, HIGHER, described as “an ambitious, compelling and thought-provoking musical everyone should see.” I have special training in helping family members in addiction, teaching them communication skills to move their loved one into treatment and support them when there. I’ve written an ebook, Empowering Families in Addiction https://mailchi.mp/mindsatpeace/get-your-free-e-book I teach mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) to individuals, businesses, institutions, nursing home and anywhere will people want to learn how to decrease stress and increase resilience. Currently the only provider in the TriState teaching Mindfulness Training for Smokers (MTS), a highly effective intervention to help people quit smoking. Provide one on one therapy and coaching is for chemical and behavioral addiction as well as individuals who recognize that stress is causing emotional and physical pain. Helping businesses reduce stress for their employees through Lunch and Learns, Mindfulness Based Relapse Preventions groups and tailored formats. Experienced Clinical Associate with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry.
