Project and Programme Manager with over 20 years of experience, specialising in customer-facing project and programme management for custom network transformations and software development. From RFP to deployment and handover to operational teams, my role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction. My technical expertise spans SDWAN (Cisco Viptela and VMware), MPLS, internet, SIP, VoIP, firewall, IOT, LAN, WLAN, Total Access Orchestration and data centre technologies. Proficient in both waterfall and agile methodologies, I've managed projects of varying scales, with responsibilities including budget oversight, team management and stakeholder reporting. Notably, I've led projects involving up to 700 sites and valued at up to 125 MUSD, demonstrating my capability to handle complex, high-stakes endeavours. One of my key strengths is my ability to manage diverse teams effectively. I oversee up to 50 team members, including up to 6 project managers, spanning global regions. Whether managing virtual or on-site teams, I strive to foster collaboration and ensure alignment towards project goals. My track record includes reporting to senior leadership, including SVPs internally and CIOs externally. I effectively communicate project progress, risks and recommendations, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and confident in project outcomes. Beyond direct project and programme management, my motivation for data analysis and project structure has driven me to spearhead various initiatives to improve processes and drive efficiency. This includes developing SharePoint programme governance systems, implementing programme quality management systems, creating information radiators for improved project communication, and developing programme financial tracking systems to provide comprehensive insights to stakeholders.
