About Mark Tempelaere

As a web professional I am a strong supporter of web standards, the power of beautiful and easy-to-use design, web usability and web accessibility. I have a strong interest in graphic design and especially typography, and try to make beautiful and usable designs on the web and elsewhere. I also know my way around internet marketing (Email Marketing, SEO, Web Analytics). My current web design tools are Visual Studio Code, Git, Gulp, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. My specialties and motivations are- Standards-based, progressively enhanced, content-first, user-centered, accessible and responsive web design (using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, jQuery, Bootstrap.)- User Interface and User Experience design - Graphic design with a special focus on typography - WordPress - Fluent speaking and writing in Dutch, English, French and German - Broad experience in prepress and print media of many years - Eagerness to learn - Attention to quality, detail, and customer satisfaction - Always pursuing authentic craftsmanship and best practices - Always striving to meet and exceed customer expectations.
