Background
About Mark Weber
Together with my wife, Jodie Weber, we are Christian philanthropists who donate time, money and energy to Eastern Hills Church, Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child, World Vision, Kingdom Bound, Buffalo's Takin' It To The Streets, Matt's Music of North Tonawanda, Cru at the University at Buffalo, Compass Care, Son Rays, WNY Home for the Holidays, Overland Missions in Congo (Africa), Homeless Outreach Team in Canton (Ohio) and more. My other passion? I collect diecast cars and have created my own in-house diecast car museum with over 7,500 cars, including Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Greenlight and Tomica brands. IN THE PAST: I've interviewed famous music artists like Mary J. Blige, Dionne Warwick, Darlene Love, Catholic musician with no arms Tony Melendez, Joan Osborne and Charlie Daniels and have had numerous music reviews/features published in newspapers and magazines. As a singer and songwriter, my album,"Days Like These," is on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby, featuring "Streets of Gold," a powerful song for anyone who has lost a parent. I once sang back-up for Kenny Loggins. Together with my dad, I've entertained at countless Senior Homes around suburban Buffalo, NY, crooning old tunes from the 1920s-1950s- the "Mark Weber Trio." I started Pianos in Public Buffalo, taking old pianos, painting them colorfully, and placing them outdoors around the City of Buffalo. I ended up on CNN for Piers Morgan's program a couple years back in NYC as well as AM Buffalo. I've taught music class for 7 to 9-year-olds. I've volunteered as a youth music camp counselor several summers in a row. I was on the local Williamsville NY Village Arts & Culture Committee, which involves coming up with various community events. I served in a number of capacities for these events, from helping to organize them, emceeing them, finding talent/acts for them, and promoting them thru social media. I was also the stage director of the annual Glen Park Art Fest. For a number of years, I have volunteered with Kingdom Bound, which puts on a Christian music festival at a theme park resort. I've hosted late night karaoke there, as well as helped out with survey taking, media relations, publicity, KB radio, and merch sales. I've done publicity, PR and website work for my friend Marsha McWilson, a singer who sounds and looks like Etta James. I've also done PR work for my friend, author Pamela Walck. For many years I've written for Visual Web Group and Main Street Host, writing promotional small business blogs and Facebook posts.
