About Markus Wolf

I am a highly motivated, flexible and innovative senior scientist with more than 16 years of professional experience in the field of energy, i.e. innovation management, technical consulting and research. I am a physical chemist by training and have strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking. Over the years I led international projects composed of interdisciplinary and intercultural teams inside and outside Alstom. I have strong leadership and communication skills, I am curious with the ability to quickly acquaint myself with new topics and items. I consider the new challenges in the energy markets as thrilling, especially in the field of renewables and smart grids. Since 2013 I am in charge of Technology Scouting and Technology Monitoring in the power sector of Alstom Open Innovation. I am an open minded person who is curious and likes to work on new things and topics. I am interested in new challenges, opportunities in the field of distributed renewable energy and energy technologies.
